QPAC A320 X-Plane Freeware

As part of QPAC's R&D activities, we have implemented a highly realistic add-on for the flight simulation X-Plane, simulating the Airbus A320 aircraft, which is available for download.

The add-on includes a detailed simulation of the Airbus flight controls and auto-flight functions, including:

 Flight Check
  • Fly-by-wire normal law giving a realistic aircraft response to control inputs including flight envelope protection
  • Auto Pilot Flight Control Unit (FCU): All features of the real FCU are realistically simulated
  • Auto flight system in accordance to Airbus logic, including ILS-Autoland and automatic roll-out

Other features of the aircraft are:

  • Enhanced X-Plane flight management
  • A detailed 3D exterior model of the entire aircraft, including animated gears, fan-blades, thrust reverser, and control surfaces.
  • Widescreen cockpit including full Overhead panel and possibility to fly from the Captain's or the Copilot's side.
  • Additional aircraft skins available on www.x-plane.org

The aircraft is free to use as a technology demonstrator and for personal entertainment for private end users. For commercial use of our add-on, please contact us on info@qpac.de

The freeware version of the aircraft has reached it's FINAL state. The final version is fully compatible with XP9.41 and higher and XP10.05 and higher. It is the same aircraft model for both versions of X-Plane, therefore it does not use any XP10 specific features but it works perfectly fine under XP10.

Version 1.0 features the same 3D model as the previous versions to maintain compatibility with the abundant supply of addon liveries available for this version.

Version 1.1 features a brand new 3D model, which looks much nicer, but for which there are few addon liveries available so far.
